Chicken Adobo with Saba

Adobo is a prominent Filipino food. Since our visitor is always out of the country, we prepare chicken adobo for him. How we cooked it? Here it is:

Ingredients:
1/2 kilo chicken
3 pcs. saba
4 tbsp. soy sauce
4 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. sugar
2 gloves garlic
1 pc. medium onion
1 pc. siling labuyo
3 tbsp. cooking oil
2 cups water
salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:
1. In a skillet, saute garlic and onion.
2. Add chicken and water then bring to a boil.
3. Add vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, salt and pepper and simmer until the chicken is tender.
4. Add saba and siling labuyo then simmer for 10 minutes.
5. Serve hot.

Food Cost: P72.00 to 82.00 pesos only
