This is our breakfast for today, my hubby's nephew cook this one and make it presentable to serve. For only 75 pesos, me and my hubby and his 2 nephews had a super yummy breakfast.. Haha..

Chunky Pineapple Chicken (Pininyahang Manok)

Pininyahang Manok
Ingredients:

1 kilo Chicken Breast
1 small can Dole Pineapple Chunks
1 small can evaporated milk
1 medium bell pepper
2 medium potatoes quartered
1 cloves garlic
1 medium onion
salt to taste
seasoning mix

Procedure:

1. In a pan, heat the oil, saute garlic and onions then add potatoes. Mix the chicken and cook for about 3 mnutes.

2. Add the pineapple chunks then pour the evaporated milk. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked.

3. Stir then season with salt and seasoning mix.

4. Serve hot and Enjoy ^_^

Ginisang Munggo



Ingredients:

1/4 kilo pork
2 cups dried munggo
2 cloves garlic
1 medium size onion
 salt and peper to taste
1 tablespoon cooking oil

Directions:

1. Put 2 cups of dried munggo in a pot with 4 cups of water.
2. Bring to a boil and add water if necessary. Keep on cooking until the beans soften.
3. In another pan, heat the oil and sauté garlic and onions.
4. Then add pork and saute for about 3-5 minutes.
5. Add the cooked munggo, season with salt and pepper and simmer for another 3 - 5 minutes.
6. Serve hot. Enjoy!

Sweet Potato Pancake

When my uncle came here in Manila from the province, he brought a lot of sweet potato. I gave some to my relatives and shared it to my neighbors but still much left. So, what i did was invented a recipe out of sweet potato. And this is one of my inventions ^_^


SWEET POTATO PANCAKE
Ingredients: 

5pcs medium size sweet potato
1 cup all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 small can evaporated milk
margarine
3 large eggs


Directions:

1. Steam the sweet potatoes. Then peel and mashed. Sift together with sugar and all-purpose flour.
2. Add all the remaining ingredients except margarine. Mix lightly to blend.
3. Cook on a hot, greased pan using margarine. When the bottom is already browned, turn and brown the other side. Serve hot..

Pinoy Chicken Steak

Chicken Steak
 Ingredients: 

1/2 kilo chicken breast
2 pcs medium size calamansi, juiced
3 gloves garlic
1 onion, cut into rings
2 tbsp. Kikkoman soy sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. oil

Procedures:
  1. Marinate chicken in calamansi, soy sauce, garlic, salt and pepper. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  2. In a pan, fry onion rings in hot oil. Cook until onions are soft. Set aside.
  3. In the same pan, put the marinated chicken mix and cook until tender. Add onions and simmer for 3 minutes.
  4. Serve hot with steamed rice.
Hmmmmmmmm.. So yummy!

Creamy Papaya with Hot Sardines


I cooked this one to try the new Nestle Cream D'Lite and joined their Recipe Challenge. I used Nestle Cream D'Lite as substitute for coco cream. I also used sardines instead of steamed fish and dried fish. Indeed, it is quite delicious and creamy than ordinary ginataang papaya. Hmmm, there are so many innovative recipe entries, i'm not expecting to win i'm just trying my luck hehe.. Creamy Papaya with Hot Sardines

Ingredients:

    1 medium papaya, peeled and cut into serving pieces.
    250ml Nestle Cream D'Lite
    3 cloves minced garlic
    1 medium chopped onions
    salt and pepper to taste
    a dash of Magic Sarap
    1 can hot sardines in tomato sauce.

Instructions:

1. Heat cooking oil in a pan. Saute onion and garlic.

2. Pour Nestle Cream D'Lite in and bring to a boil; place in papaya. Season with salt, pepper and a dash of magic sarap. Simmer over low heat until papaya is half cooked.

3. Add in hot sardines and stir. Simmer for few more minutes until papaya is totally soft and sauce thickens.

4. Serve hot with plain rice.

Hmmmmmm.. So yuuummmmmmmy!

LEMON BERRY JUICE

Almost 1 week nang inuubo ang hubby at kapatid ko kaya naman naisipan ko silang gawan ng kalamansi juice pero dinagdagan ko ng strawberry flavor instant juice drink mix para naman maiba. Di ko inaasahan na masarap pala sabi ng kapatid at hubby ko.. Kahit ako di makapaniwala na masarap nga! Try nyo to.. Mura na masarap pa.. 35.00 pesos lang ang nagastos ko dito.. Promise =)





INGREDIENTS:
30 pcs. medium size kalamansi
35 grams strawberry flavor instant juice drink mix
1 liter cold water
5 tbsp. sugar

PROCEDURE:
1. Squeeze 30 pcs. kalamansi in 1 liter cold water.
2. add 35 grams strawberry flavor instant juice drink mix and 5 tbsp. sugar.
3. Serve with cube ice.
